We sat down with Anja to pick her brain about her exciting new role, and what sheās most excited about looking ahead. Read on to get to know Anja!
Tell us a bit about yourself!
Iāve been in the wedding industry for more than a decade, collaborating with event professionals from small businesses to large enterprises. Iām a marketer, content creator, and business strategist, but ultimately a relationship builder at my core. And Iām a huge supporter of women-owned businesses – obviously!
What drew you to Rock Paper Coin?
Going into this next chapter, it was really important to me that I work with founders that I fully align with on the values front and I certainly align with Elizabeth and Nora. Theyāre not only awesome female founders but they deeply care about the people that power our industryāwhich frankly made it an easy choice knowing that they have all of our backs in the industry.
What are you most excited about for the future of RPC?
This role presents an exciting opportunity to continue creating simplified and streamlined payment solutions tailored to the events industry. I canāt wait to collaborate with a female-founded brand that shares my dedication to service, financial education, and innovation.
I am super passionate about creating more financial transparency in our industry, having more real money talks, and finding ways to ensure that every business that powers our $100BN dollar industry has access to best-in-class fintech products. We really havenāt even begun to scratch the surface.
